I am a theatrical artist, teacher, researcher,  theater director. Specialist  in voice development .

Graduated from the National School of Dramatic Art, 1982, currently UNA. University expert in “City and artistic creation”,

Postgraduate University of Lleida, Catalunia.

I make Masks and Installations with photographs, intervened objects, photographs and audiovisuals. 

I sing traditional songs from northern Argentina where I lived for 9 years in contact with the communities: coplas, bagualas, zambas, and traditional music   from the urban area of Buenos Aires: tango. In 2021 I attended the seminar "History of tango styles through song" at the University of Buenos Aires. 

In theater I trained with Argentine teachers: Juan Carlos Gené, Augusto Fernández, Laura Yusem, and international teachers: Santiago García, Teatro de la Candelaria, Colombia; Antunes Filho, Brazil; Marco Antonio de la Parra from Chile, Julia Varley, Iben Rasmussenn and Eugenio Barba from Odin Teatret, Denmark, and Mario Biagini and Thomas Richards from Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards Workcenter, Italy.

Since 2000 I venture into visual arts. I have  made 3 artistic installations: "Aborigine", on myths of native cultures of America,  "The Scream", a look at the wars of humanity, acquired by the Napoli Sotterranea Foundation, Italy,  and “Letters on the sea”, interactive audiovisual, about  epistolary documentation of Spanish immigrants who arrived in Argentina between 1880 and 1930, exhibited in its first version in the Central Hall of the Teatro General San Martín, 2013. I exhibited in Argentina, Spain and Italy.

in THEATER  I participated from 1981 to date in more than 35 works. I have worked at the General San Martín Complex as an actress: Teatro San Martin “I was at home and I was waiting for the rain to come” 2011; Riverside Theater  “1810”, and  Teatro Regio “Las descentradas”, 2012. In 2013 I directed my play Cartas sobre el mar, within the cycle Rituals of passage of the Teatro San Martín.

In 2015 I directed “Games at siesta time”, within the Federal Plan of the Cervantes National Theater, which was presented at Sala Maria Guerrero, within the Teatro del País cycle

.In 2014 I was invited by the European Teatret School of Tubingën in  Germany  to collaborate in pedagogical workshops in France, Italy and Germany.

I participated in several festivals, congresses and national and international meetings. I received a scholarship in residence for artists in Spain by the  Valparaíso de Mojácar Foundation, Almería; and Centro Negra AADK contemporary art, Murcia. And on several occasions by the National Fund for the Arts, the National Theater Institute, and the Secretary of Culture of the Nation in 2004.

Manager and coordinator of seven intercultural theater encounters, in Argentina and Uruguay between 1997 and 2001 with the participation of international and national artists. 

I was part of the production team of the VII International Theater Festival of Buenos Aires, FIBA 2009, and Bares Notables, musical programming in bars, Ministry of Culture of the City Government, 2010-2011.

 

I was a guest artist at the Fundación Valparaíso de Mojacar residence, Spain, 2004 and 2018. At the Centro Negra AADK, contemporary art, Murcia, Spain, I carried out the sensory MAP project “Inside and from inside” during the 2020 pandemic, and an audiovisual of 7 minutes “Refold”, taking images of the clothes hanging on the terraces of the town of Blanca, with no bodies.  

 

From 2017 until its dissolution I participated in activities with the Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards Workcenter  (Open Program) in Pontedera, Italy: “Open choir” directed by Mario Biagini, with ancient songs of African and Afro-American roots. And in Argentina with the group led by Thomas Richards with whom I collaborated on the 2022 tour of Argentina, also coordinating a colloquium at the University of the Arts (IUNA) in Buenos Aires.  

 

I published a book “The theater, the body and the ritual ”, Editorial of the National Theater Institute (INT) of Argentina, and several reports and pedagogical notes in the Picadero Magazine of the INT. In 2000 we made a musical and vocal work in Spain  which was released on an album Lusco Fusco sang songs from the north of Argentina traditional to the aboriginal and mestizo peoples of the Andean area, with electronic music. Musician Roisner of France. A work on zambas and vidalas from northern Argentina.
